After 3 years of constant gigging and song writing, Memphis reggae band Sound Rebel Dem enter the national scene with a 5 song EP packed with deep dubby roots inspired by the greats of Studio One and the Black Ark. Produced by Blackout Magic Muzik and Four Directions Four Faces, Quartz Crystal Clear is a journey into the mystical sounds of the past with the clarity of modern production techniques. Check out the meditative title track for a relaxing bass heavy vibration with conscious lyrics by Azarael, "Ducks On A Lake" mixed by Memphis Rap legend Blackout, or "Dub World Wide" for an indulgently taste of dub extravagance. The songs of Quartz Crystal Clear are varied, yet true to the rootsy sound of yesteryear.
